  5. Giving Back

 What is your favorite detox?

21 day detox. First week is going Vegan. Totally vegan. 2nd week Vegan & Raw. 3rd week is a liquid diet. Still eating and retrains your palette. I try to do it twice a year at the beginning of the year and fall. Sometimes Spring. Helps create clarity and manage addictions. Forces you to shift your behavior and really think about what is not serving you. Physical and emotions and psychological experience.

What does living wholly mean to you?

Living wholly knows what your priorities are. Creating a life around it. Everyday making an effort to have a great day and incorporating element’s that are important to you. Setting goals. Being creative and spending time with friends. Being balanced and not being too busy. Slowing down and targeting your priorities.

What are your top best “at home” health remedies?

Every morning I do yoga techniques to wake up the whole system. Skin brushing, Jala neti is pouring salt water in your nose flushing out the mucus membrane. Activates your brain. Eye washing, drinking a big glass of lemon water.

What super natural gift would you most like to possess?

Flying. I always dream of flying. It would be exhilarating.

Who inspires you or your practice?

A lot of my colleagues ispire me:  Seane Corn, Sianna Sherman (practitioner), Ryan Seman (astrologer), Marianne Williamson, Furu Mook.

What is your present state of mind?

Right now I feel pretty good. Excited, happy and grateful. Embracing the challenges. I have such a great network of inspirational people.

What music are you listening to right now?

Banks, Kings of Leon, Grateful Dead, Bob Marley, Adele. East Forest.

What are you reading right now?

James Fonda autobiography. My life so far. Yoga psychology books.

If you could travel anywhere in the world where would you go and why?

Kioto, Sweden to discover my roots and Australia and Africa.

What has been your favorite discovery on a trip?

That I can be the happiest alone. Traveled to Thailand alone. Important to travel alone. Self discovery.

What is/are your, “must haves,” while traveling?

Clean water, probiotics, facial moisturizer, good book, yoga mat.

What is your favorite quote?

Tao Te Ching:

True perfection seems imperfect yet it is perfectly itself. True straightness seems crooked, true art seems artless.”

What is your personal motto?

Just do your best.

What is your idea of earthly happiness?

Understanding the nature of the game we call life. It's wild, it's crazy and none of us really know what’s going on. We have to stay human and laugh at ourselves and appreciate what we have and enjoy it. Santosha. Content.
